Indie Pulp’s Best of 2007

Category : Comics, The Damned

Indie Pulp just posted their first annual “best of” list, featuring their choices for the top independent comic books in six different categories — anthology, horror/thriller, art book, humor, drama, and best overall.  Looking over the picks, I see at least three books that would have been on my list as well, namely Black Metal, Super Spy, and Postcards.  The books on the list I haven’t read (House and Scrap Mettle) sound terrific, and I’ll be hunting them down.  And to illustrate that the good folks at Indie Pulp really know what they’re talking about, The Damned was their selection in the drama category.  Aw, shucks!  That really means a lot to me, and it’s nice to be listed among such awesome work.  Thanks, Indie Pulp!

In March, the first issue of the new Damned mini-series, Prodigal Sons, hits the stands.  This will be the first of two arcs (the second being subtitled Daughter’s Dance) that form the Sons & Daughters storyline.

Eddie has a knack for returning from the dead, and when you walk the tightrope between the demonic families, that comes in handy.  But after years of playing every side, Eddie has a few enemies that want to make sure his next dirt nap is his last!

Please stop by your local comic shop and pre-order the series.  It can be found on page 322 of the new issue of Previews.  The order code is  JAN08 3820.
