The Sixth Gun

During the darkest days of the Civil War, wicked cutthroats came into possession of six pistols of otherworldly power. In time, the Sixth Gun, the most dangerous of the weapons, vanished. When the gun surfaces in the hands of an innocent girl, dark forces reawaken. Vile men thought long dead set their sights on retrieving the gun and killing the girl. Only Drake Sinclair, a gunfighter with a shadowy past, stands in their way.

Praise for The Sixth Gun:

“Though I’ll probably be going into debt to get caught up, I have the feeling it’s worth it.”

— John Parker – The 15 Best Free Comics on the Kindle Fire

“We’re a year-and-a-half into this series from Oni Press and I don’t think I’ve read a bad issue yet. Shoot, I don’t think I’ve even read a mediocre issue. Each one builds upon the previous while setting it’s own tone and feel. So, whether you’ve been there since Issue #1, or if this review convinced you to give the title a try, you’re going to have a blast.”

–David Pepose – Newsarama

“The Sixth Gun has been one of the most consistent comics on the shelves.  Cullen Bunn and Brian Hurtt have done some fantastic work on this genre-bending mash-up of Westerns and magic.”

–James Fulton – Comics Nexus

“The Sixth Gun” is one of the best ongoing series being published right now, period. No matter what the genre you enjoy, you owe it to yourself to try “The Sixth Gun.”

–Greg McElhatton –  Comic Book Resources

“Whacked-out western horror at its best, featuring an insanely wicked assortment of cold-blooded killers and hellish ne’er-do-wells, as well as art that will blow you away like a Texas cyclone of awesome. An absolute winner in every way.”

“Cullen and Brian’s work all-but explodes off the page like a shot, then plants the round of their story square between your eyes. Read it, damn you! Read it!”

“You’re lucky. You’re about to be pulled into the world of THE SIXTH GUN just like I was, clinging on horseback into a supernatural West of evocative horrors and characters who

leave their mark immediately. Bunn and Hurtt did not hold back with this book, they came out with guns blazing and I’m ready for more.”

“Great book, full of creepy, atmospheric scenes and bizarre concepts, beautifully realized.”

“The west just got a whole lot wilder… and weirder!”

“I don’t know how the boys managed to top THE DAMNED, but I’m telling you, THE 6TH GUN does it. More mystery and wonder and adventure in the first six pages than some comics have in their whole lives. Say hello to your new favorite comic.”
