Here’s a pretty great trailer for the French editions of THE SIXTH GUN. No matter what language you speak, this should get you hyped about the series. And that’s good for you, because the GUNSLINGER EDITION of Volume 1 is now available through your favorite comic book shop!
The Sixth Gun
I’ve long said that the world of The Sixth Gun would make a great setting for a role-playing game. If you agree with me, then you should get your dice ready. Pinnacle Entertainment Group (who are responsible for Savage Worlds and Deadlands among many other great games) has announced the upcoming release of a Savage Worlds source book based on the comic book!
The release date hasn’t been announced yet, but stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.
From the press release:
The Sixth Gun series comes to RPGs! The First of the Six strikes with ungodly force. The Second spreads Perdition’s flames. The Third kills with a flesh-rotting disease. The Fourth calls up the spirits of those it has slain. The Fifth can heal the wielder from even a fatal wound. And the Sixth is the key to rewriting the world. Are you ready to saddle up and ride into the savage world of The Sixth Gun? Based on the Eisner and Harvey Award nominated comic series from Cullen Bunn, Brian Hurtt, and OniPress. Watch for more details to come, as well as more accessories, including custom miniatures of the characters from the comics!
Until now, the fabled Gunslinger Edition of THE SIXTH GUN has only been available through Oni Press and at conventions. Now, however, your favorite retailers can carry the book!
A few of the features of this monster edition:
- Limited to 1,000 copies

A few years back, Multiversity Comics ran a column coinciding with the release of each new issue of THE SIXTH GUN. With the series entering its penultimate arc and a new spin-off, THE SIXTH GUN: DAYS OF THE DEAD, starting next month, now seemed like the perfect time for Multiversity to revive the column.
Over the weekend, some lucky fans got the chance to see the unaired pilot episode of THE SIXTH GUN. The episode was shown at George R. R. Martin’s Jean Cocteau Cinema in Santa Fe, NM. It was a great event, with zombie cowboys, themed adult beverages, Q&A, book signings, costume contests, and staged shootouts at the end of the Santa Fe Trail!
Despite a little rain and a blackout that delayed the first screening by a couple of hours (during which we did a panel discussion in the dark), the event was an absolute blast! The pilot was really well received. It looked great on the big screen. And I think we introduced a bunch of new readers to the book!
